"Every Girl Goes Crazy For A Sharped Dress Man"

His first speech and debate competition that we had to be up for at the butt crack of dawn!  I know it was tough on him to get up that early because he was up till late the night before writing his 3 minute speech.  He has to work extra hard to keep his speeches to 3 minutes because as you all well know....he has the "gift of gab" and as his grandfather would say of he and Mike both......"they will talk you to death and then lay down next to you and whisper in your ear!"

I have to brag a bit because his speech and debate teacher pulled him out of class the other day and told him that he was going to the Moffat County competition next weekend.  Normally this competition is for upper classmen only and sophmores usually are not allowed to attend.  He was definitely surprised and honored by this invitation.  He is very excited but yet extremely nervous for next weekend.

We are very proud of him!   Mike especially is since this was his area of expertise back in his day.  It is fun to listening to the two of them argue, agree, disagree and argue some more about whatever debate Josh is currently working on at the time but when it comes right down to it........there is no one better equipped to help Josh than his dad!

This is going to be a fabulous learning experience for Josh and we look forward to the growth and to see him mature in this important life skill that will help shape him into the professional, young man he wants to become!
